bioSicherheit goes online

The Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Wolf-Michael Catenhusen, has opened the new information portal on the environmental safety of genetically modified plants at a press conference in Berlin.

For the first time, the BMBF is not only funding biological safety research itself, but also various communication measures. The idea is to present the programme and individual research results to the public.
